I bought a book on gardening last year at the Chicago Green Festival (Held each year in the area and a HUGE festival on Green living. The next one will be in May, when I get the location I'll post it elsewhere on Intergarden) - called 'Trowel And Error" - a gardener's handbook of simple remedies and techniques. It was written by an author in Wisconsin, I believe. I'll pull it out and reply here with ISBN and Author name when I get the chance. I read it cover-to-cover, it's a great book filled with many years of gardening wisdom.
List price on Amazon.com is only $11.16 - plush shipping unless you order over $25.00 worth of books, then Amazon includes shipping. It's rated 5-star with 20 customer reviews on Amazon.
I just sent an e-mail to Jenny Timberlake Bellamy, Content Editor for Dirt Doctor.com about Intergarden, asking for help getting the word out ahead of the growing season.
Dirt Doctor is a nationally-syndicated Sunday radio show I listen to on WCPT (850 AM, 99.9 FM, 92.5 AM, 92.7 AM) and it is all about gardening tips and methods. People from around the country call in with questions, and the Dirt Doctor - Howard Garrett - answers their questions.
Cross your fingers and hope they give us an honorable mention!
